We have worked with many local organizations including; El Centro, Don Bosco Centers, La Luz Immigration Clinic, Kansas City Center for Inclusion, Kansas City Anti-Violence Project, Reconciliation Services, Kansas City Heroes, the Kansas City Ballet School, the Johnson County Library and others. We have also featured many community members in our documentary series. We believe in community participation and the power in sharing our stories.

Mission Statement

No Divide KC creates artistic events that highlight various social causes, organizations, and issues. These events help garner greater attention to these underserved social areas and bolster community acceptance and collaboration in Kansas City. No Divide KC uses the arts as a vehicle for stimulating social awareness, participation, and community building.


Our unique features include an extensive range in organizing artistic performances and media creation, our focus on growing positive and accepting attitudes, and our dedication to helping any organization, group, or artistic entity that works to better the Kansas City community.


Board of Directors


Stacy Busch, President

Stacy Busch is a multimedia artist and performer. She is the founder and president of No Divide KC. She believes that artists have a responsibility to break down barriers in the community and to give voice to those who are quieted. Her work has been performed throughout the Kansas City area as well as nationally and internationally. She received her B.M in Music Composition from Western Michigan University and her M.M in Music Composition from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. 

Cody Kauhl, Vice President

Cody Kauhl is a digital multimedia artist that pairs found sound and video with the intimacy of the human voice. Cody graduated in 2011 with a B.M. in Music Theory/Composition at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and received his M.M. in Music Composition at the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2015.

Emily Spradling, Treasurer

Emily Spradling is an ESL teacher at the Don Bosco Center. She is particularly passionate about helping the refugee and immigrant populations in Kansas City as well as the LGBTQ community. Emily hopes that No Divide KC can help bring down divisions in the Kansas City community and foster greater acceptance of all people.

John Chittum, Secretary

John Chittum is a software engineer and composer. He is the president of KcEMA, helping to grow Kansas City-based electronic artists and the secretary of No Divide KC. No Divide KC is important to John because it helps give many people voices through the arts. He hopes that NDKC can help bring the Kansas City communities closer together.
