Our Identidad
Celebrate the 2nd annual launch of Our Identidad, a bilingual anthology bursting with stories, poems, and voices from over 70 students and community members. This year features work from Raytown High School, Paseo Institute of Fine Arts, Gilda’s Club, and independent community workshops, all reflecting the beauty, complexity, and creativity of our community.
Join us for an evening of poetry, connection, and celebration:
Readings & open mic: hear local and student poets or step up and share your own work!
Food provided and drinks available for purchase at Blip Roasters.
Anthologies available donation-based.

Our Identidad 2024
Last year, Our Identidad celebrated along over 100 students and community poets through the Bicultural Poetry Program.
Last year’s launch showcased the power of poetry to connect communities, celebrate culture, and inspire confidence among attendants.
What started as a small bilingual workshop for Latinx youth has grown into a diverse space for self-expression, identity exploration, and creativity!
