About:
No Divide KC is proud to announce its bi-annual student exhibition for Spring 2026: "Gathering Voices". As a vehicle for the arts and community, we are looking to amplify the voices of undergraduate students in the Greater Kansas City Metro Area and provide emerging artists with the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional context.
This spring, we invite artists to submit works that reflect their own communities, however they define them. We ask you to consider: What do you bring to your community? How do you strengthen the relationships around you? In what ways has your community supported you?
What we are looking for:
We are seeking artworks that reflect your place within a community and the ways your community has shaped and uplifted you, whether through shared meals, acts of care, collective hope, or moments of gathering.
Any and all mediums and materials are welcome, including but not limited to, traditional media, ceramics, fibers, sculpture, video, photography, illustration, painting, printmaking, etc.
Original completed work that reflects your current artistic practice! Artwork which is unfinished or employs the use of generative AI will not be considered.
Is this for me?
This call is open to any currently enrolled undergraduate student in the Greater KC Metro Area.
No Divide KC’s work centers artists from underrepresented communities, and we encourage artists whose identities, experiences, or perspectives have been historically marginalized in the arts to apply.
